Please read the following Policy Agreement for Pawlished Pet Services, LLC
DBA Pawlished Mobile Grooming By signing below you agree that pets are only accepted for grooming under the following circumstances:
The pet(s) rabies vaccine is up to date (as required by law) unless otherwise discussed.
The pet is fit and healthy, Grooming which takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner's risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health\skin conditions for which Pawlished Pet Services, LLC cannot be held liable. We make every effort to inform owner of any such conditions that may require Veterinary attention.
In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize Pawlished Pet Services, LLC to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense.
Excessive matting that requires complete coat removal will dramatically alter your pet's appearance. All precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of your pet. However, this procedure may expose pre-existing health\skin problems including clipper irritation and mental and physical stress for which Pawlished Pet Services, LLC cannot be held liable.
If your pet is found to have a flea/tick infestation your pet will be sent home at any point in the grooming process it was discovered in. You will be charged for any services rendered up to that point and you will also be responsible for a flea/tick cleaning fee of $150.00. Any remaining appointments that day will need to be cancelled and rescheduled so that other pets and households are not at risk of an infestation. We will then be using our time and products to scrub/clean the van.
Due to our Insurance Requirements, clients are not allowed in the van or the salon area. Please keep your children away from the outside of the van. Hanging on the doors & mirrors can be dangerous, and though we check our entire surroundings before we leave an area, we have limited sight and blind spots in some areas and small children playing on or around the van may potentially be in danger as we leave. Please refrain from knocking, pounding, or opening any of the doors of the van while your pet or a neighbors pet is inside receiving services. We work with very sharp tools and some anxious pets, and any noise that may startle your groomer or any pet inside could be harmful to the groomer or the pet.
Payment is to be made at the time of service. Payment can be cash, check or credit card. Returned checks will incur a $35 charge. We do not offer Invoicing as a form of payment unless discussed prior. Any delayed payment, discussed prior to services rendered MUST be paid within the time frame discussed, no later than the end of the month the services were performed in. We reserve the right to collect on any unpaid service as well as cancel any future appointments until payments have been made. We offer a convenient card on file option that is securely stored through our processor, Square.
Pawlished operates on a very strict and tight schedule. Mobile Grooming is in High Demand, with most mobiles booking weeks in advance. Our schedule stays at capacity. Due to the nature of our routing and scheduling demands, we do ask for some flexibility from each client. We have a very loyal clientele that has been super flexible which enables us to simply "switch" one client's appointment with another on the same day or different day if the need arises. This keeps all pets happy and pampered with minimal interruption to our schedule. With our one to two hour arrival window, we typically run right at the front end of that window. At times, we may run earlier or later. If we run later, we may ask that you allow us to come later that day or reschedule for another day. When we run earlier, we may call and ask to come earlier. Some flexibility on your part and allowing us to come earlier helps keep us moving and running efficiently. We greatly appreciate your cooperation, flexibility and consideration for our time as well as our other clients and their time. We run just like a well oiled machine when our clients can maintain some flexibility. For those who cannot be as flexible we offer and highly encourage the use of our Key on File Service. 90% of our clients have taken advantage of this service and have maintained their services this way. We are happy to provide more information or elaborate on that. If we cannot come to an agreement on a schedule that works for you, and our route, we will try to provide you with a referral for another mobile or brick and mortar salon that can better accommodate your scheduling needs.
Mobile Grooming is in High Demand. We provide regular maintenance, convenience, & luxurious services. We only service one pet at a time in our State of the Art, self sufficient, mobile salon. Due to the nature of our services, our talent, experience, the convenience and high quality of our services, our schedule stays at capacity with a waiting list. We only accept clients that maintain a rotation of 4 or 8 weeks. You are not locked in by a contract, but if you fail to keep your scheduled appointments we reserve the right to cancel future appointments and offer your slot to someone on our waiting list. We carefully plan our routes based on the location and the time that it takes to service each pet on our schedule. We also have to carefully plan our route around our water usage per pet and how much water our tanks can hold, the time it takes to drive to each location and many other factors that go in to our daily schedules. We do not have the availability to be an "on demand" service or to take as needed appointments. We take pride in our commitment to our clients, the relationships that we build, the trust that our clients have for us, our professionalism, reliability, excellent communication, and for the quality of our services.
Cancellations: We service as scheduled as long as conditions are not dangerous. We will call ahead of your appointment if we feel that it is unsafe. - Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 48 hours notice to waive the FULL appointment fee. - In the event of inclement weather, a family emergency or any other uncontrollable circumstance, Pawlished Pet Services, LLC has the discretion to waive the fee within the 48 hour period. (if this occurs frequently with the same client, we reserve the right to move you to the waiting list in order to fill your spot with someone from our waiting list until you are able to keep your scheduled appointments.) - We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom if we feel the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the groomer. - We rarely have a reason to cancel for our needs but we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule in the event that we have a mechanical or other issue with the Van or Salon that keeps us from being able to safely reach you or service your pet. Our van is maintained on schedule, but just like your home or car, we may experience an unforeseen event that forces our closure for a day or more.
No-Shows: It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not available within the scheduled arrival window and does not contact the groomer to cancel or reschedule, 24 hours prior. - We reserve the right to charge the FULL grooming fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show". Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule when possible to avoid such situations. - If you have more than one pet scheduled and one pet is still healthy and able to be groomed, you must keep that scheduled appointment so that we do not have a huge gap in our schedule that we cannot fill at the last minute. If you cancel for more than one pet, even in the event of an Emergency for one scheduled pet, you will be charged for the missed appointment for the healthy & abled pet.
Late appointments: A late appointment is defined as not being available for your arrival window time. After 15 minutes, your appointment will be cancelled and the no show fee will apply. This applies to any pet that you need to allow to potty upon our arrival. Please make sure your pet has gone out prior to our arrival window. - As a courtesy, appointment reminder/confirmation texts are sent out 24 to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. It is required that you reply to this text to confirm or cancel your appointment. Failure to reply by 12 noon the day before your appointment may result in the cancellation of your appointment. - We work long hours and it is ultimately your responsibility to remember your scheduled appointment. You are given your next date at your current appointment, which provides you with a 4 to 8 week notice and the same amount of time to make any needed changes. We contact you as a courtesy, but there may be times when we are too busy and it becomes too late in the evening to do so. You are still responsible to be available or to remember to reschedule your own appointment. Failure to do so will result in the appropriate fees.
Aggressive or Dangerous Pets: Pawlished Pet Services, LLC has the right to refuse any services at any time. In the event that your pet is too stressed or becomes dangerous to groom, Pawlished has the right to refuse grooming services, stop grooming services, or cancel grooming services at any time before, during, or after grooming and the owner/guardian will be charged a grooming fee for what was done up to that point. Owners/guardians must inform Pawlished if their pet(s) bites, has bitten, or is aggressive to people, other pets, and/or specific grooming procedures. Disclosing that a pet may have aggressive tendencies does not automatically result in a refusal to groom. It allows Pawlished to be mindful of the pet’s behavior while being groomed so that the groomer can avoid being bitten and can avoid injury to the pet if the pet were to move suddenly while being clipped. Failure to disclose that your pet(s) has a history of biting or is dangerous may result in a fee of $250.00 and the owner/guardian will be responsible for any and all payments of medical expenses, emergency medical treatment, hospital costs, and recovery costs including but not limited to physical therapy incurred by Pawlished and may result in further legal action. We do not use muzzles unless it is necessary for the safety of the pet and/or groomer. Muzzling will not harm your pet(s) and protects both the pet(s) and the groomer. If a pet becomes aggressive and requires muzzling there will be a special handling fee in addition to the regular grooming charge and that fee is not negotiable. We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or client for any reason.
Every pet has very different needs when it comes to their hygiene and style. No two pets size, body stature, skin conditions, coat thickness, texture, and length, or behavior are the same. Our pricing is structured according to your individual pet's skin/ coat, behavior, services being performed, the frequency of your pet's visits, and the time that it takes to safely care for your pet. When you hire a mobile you are also acknowledging that you understand the value of the convenience, the one on one nature of your appointment and the high quality of the products and tools being used and the services being provided. Your pet(s) grooming visit will be charged accordingly and will reflect the high quality that we provide as well as the costs that we incur as a mobile service that provides these directly at your doorstep. We also currently service two different States and Sales Tax is required in the State of Arkansas and will be charged at the local rates. Due to the varying factors, pricing is not listed on our website and we do not provide quotes or estimates until we have the ability to offer you an appointment slot on our rotating schedule.
